{4.29.2013} anything goes today…

SPaRKS!

It is a fun day with the SPARKS challenge from Paper Smooches.
ANYTHING GOES!!!

Anything Goes PSS

 week 5

This is a great week to JUST PLAY!!!  The Party Posse is a new stamp set for me, though it is “vintage” Paper Smooches.  I just adore that little hamster.  Who knew a hamster could be so cute???  He is colored with some Copics and then popped up on the card.  I cut the balloon out with my Cameo and then did a little surgery on the hamster to be able to thread the balloon string out his little hand.  So adorable.

{4.22.2013} Monday SPARKS with Paper Smooches

Hey Sugah.

Here is the NEW SPARKS challenge
from Paper Smooches.

week 4

Doesn’t this photo make you crave a cupcake?
I sure did and almost ran out to get one.  I refrained… barely.

Instead, I stamped them!
The front of the card is trimmed short to show off the patterned paper from the inside.
Then the cupcakes hang over the bottom a little.
Kinda a little fun twist.

There is MORE inspiration over on the SPARKS blog and with these talented ladies.

{4.8.13} Monday SPARKS with Paper Smooches

Let’s get our SPARK on!

Check out the new SPARKS challenge from Paper Smooches.

week 2

Too much?

Lol… this is so not clean and simple and it seems so busy to me.  But I do love it.
I tried to get some friends to cut those flowers out for me.
Shocker… I had no takers.  So I trimmed them all out by hand.
Want to know a secret?
There is a die to match, one I do not have but will be ordering now!

Check out the other girls sharing their SPARKS cards this week.

{3.25.2013} button, button, who’s got the button?

I had no idea where that saying came from.
It is funny how many things we (or I should just say I) say and have no idea why. I had to look up the button saying. Apparently, it is a children’s game which I have never played. But when I saw the new SPARKS challenge from Paper Smooches that saying immediately popped into my little head.

week 4

Then, I immediately pulled out my new PSS Needle Little Love stamp set. Perfect right? A little white embossing powder, some colored pencils all on some yummy kraft. Perfectly sweet and simple.

There are more SPARKS cards to see this week.
These ladies are pretty darn talented.

{3.11.2013} let the good times roll

Check out FUN, new SPARKS challenge from Paper Smooches.

week 2

Rockin’ the chalkboard effect this week.  Betsy Veldman has a great chalkboard tutorial that you should most definitely check out.  It is quite an easy technique, but just be cautious when adding the white ink with a tissue.  Blot it at least once so you get a nice shade effect instead of a big white dot.  I opted not to do a shadow with white ink, instead I used my white pencil to create the shadow lines.

There are more cards to see from the SPARKS design team.
Hope you will visit them too.
