{6.9.2011} hip hoppin’ with {ippity}

Happy Thursday!

We are hip hopping today, so glad you joined in on the fun.  If you didn’t start at the beginning of the hop, you will want to hop on over to the Unity blog.

I feel like I have been away for EVAH!  Ha.  The hubby and I took a trip to Miami, FL to visit his family and friends.  TEN days full of food, Cuban coffee, visiting, FUN, hugs and sleeping in!  Ha.

We had such a wonderful time, but I missed home and my girls.

Plus, I’m so happy to get back into my craft room.  I missed out on all the new {ippity} release fun, so I just had to break out my new set again for today.

Isn’t it adorable?

You can get this or any of the new releases from ANY of the {ippity} chicks.  To find one follow the link below.

I have a ton of thank you cards to send after our trip.  We have the best bunch of friends in Florida.  The kind that will always be there for you even though you may not see them all the time.  We had a wonderful time visiting with them and miss them already.

It is SO true… true friends are priceless.

I couldn’t decide if I wanted to stamp the flowers directly onto the card front or to pop them up.  Well, I stamped all my stems before I decided and realized I wouldn’t be able to do any masking at that point.  Oops.  So they are all stamped, cut out and popped up.  Ha.  Just a little glitter glue to the centers help them SPARKLE just right.

Ready to head over to Maren’s blog next?  I can’t wait to see what she is up to this week!

stamps: flowers+friends=priceless {ippity by unity}
ink: peacock, dark red {colorbox}, black {versafine}
other: black pen, glitter glue {joanns}, Copic marker

12.30.2010 – Hip Hop

Hello Hip Hoppers!!!

I have one last {ippity} project to share with your in this final Hip Hop for 2010.

I have been playing with the How you Doin’? stamp set a bunch lately and I’ll have a few more cards to show soon.  This square one is super fun.  Banners are still pretty hot and this little flower banner turned out just too cute.  I’m using the Echo Park Life is Good paper (which you can get from your favorite {ippity} chick).

Plus, there is a matching gift card holder.

This year has been extra good to me and the old blog.  I can’t express how thankful I am to be apart of the {ippity} design team.  This company and my DT girls bring sunshine, laughter and LOTS of inspiration into my world.  While 2010 is coming to an end, I see BIG and BEAUTIFUL things ahead for {ippity}.  Get ready 2011 for a FABULOUS new year!!!!

I wish you all a SAFE and HAPPY New Year!!!

12.23.2010 – Hip Hopping Along

Yay for Hip Hop day!!!

Thanks for hanging in… only a few more stops until you get to the Ippity blog.  Karen has a fabulous tutorial for you there, it will be TOTALLY worth it!

Funny how things work out.  On Monday, I showed a love filled card because my anniversary is coming up.  Well, today I have a wedding card to share.

Next month, I have a family member getting hitched, so this week on the old blog has kinda turned into “lovey dovey” week.  I find it funny because Christmas is in just 2 DAYS and I don’t have anything holiday related to show at all!  Ha!

I have been admiring the vintage look for quite some time.  I have made a few attempts at it, but my graphic clean and simple self always seems to shine through.  This was me taking a shot at it again.  Ha!

I’ve combined quite a few {ippity} sets.  The birds and birdcage are from the Fall for You set.  I colored the birds with a sponge dauber and some ippity ink in Water Lily and Raw Sienna.  The background stamp is from A Moment in Time as well as the lace border stamp.  Last, I stamped the heart from Here and Now.

Lisa H. is next with her super fab project!!!!

12.16.2010 – Hip Hop

Happy Hip Hop day!!!

I’m feeling a bit springy today!  Arizona hasn’t felt the winter yet, in fact, we were in the 80’s this week!  Crazy right!  Cooler temps are ahead, but for now, I feel like it is SPRING!

Lots of NEW {ippity} LOVE in this little card.  I am using the How You Doin’? set from the brand spankin’ NEW Fall release.

The little images are so sweet and the all occasion sentiments are fabulous.

At the end of the hop, I’m blogging today on the {ippity} blog!  I’ll finally show you what I have going on inside my easel card (below) from Monday’s Hippity Hop challenge.  Do you want to play along in the challenge… check out the deets HERE.

And, I’ll be back tomorrow with something for FWF!  Woo hoo.

The super talented Lisa H. is up next!!!!

Hello Hip Hoppers!!!

Thanks for joining in on all the fabulous Ippity and Unity fun!

If you didn’t start at the Unity blog, you missed out on all the NEWS and the FABULOUS beginning.  You will definitely want to check it out.  There is a new co-brand stamp set release!!!  Iron Orchid Designs and Unity teamed up to create 13 crazy beautiful stamp sets.  They are all on sale for $19.99 just until MONDAY plus FREE SHIPPING!!!

To go with today’s theme, I have a quick little gift to share.

It is a simple little pocket to hold a packet of hot cocoa – instant warmth for this chilly season.  I thought this would be a great gift for a classroom or co-workers for Christmas.  The “warmest wishes” stamp from the Season of Joy {ippity} set was perfect.  If one would like to up the warmth on this gift, one might just find a little Starbucks gift card tucked in behind the cocoa packet.  Just saying.

stamps: Season of Joy {ippity}
patterned paper: Jovial 6×6 pad {Basic Grey}
die cuts: Labels 10 {Spellbinders}
other: felt, white embossing powder, ribbon
