{10.26.2012} friends with flair…

full of gratitude

I shared this card on the Unity blog this week, but want to share here as well.  I just love all the great Ippity line of stamps.  This is one of my top #10 faves.
I’m not using your standard autumn colors, but that is why I LOVE it.
Something different, yet, you still get the warmth from the colors of fall.
THERE is a FABBY sale going on too.

Happy day my Friends with Flair Unity peeps…
remember to head back to the Unity blog to visit the rest of the Friends with Flair.

{8.30.2012} happy naughty or nice day…

Um, I mean Christmas!

Lol… the Unity design team is hip hopping today.  Lots of fun new stamps being added to the UNITY family in Halloween and Holiday themes.  If you didn’t start at the beginning of the hop, make sure you head over to the Unity blog.

I went for a very non-traditional holiday tag.  While I started out with some traditional Christmas papers, I added some funky washi tape to spruce it up a bit.  I thought it was an unexpected surprise.  I’m not sure who will be getting this tag in December so I had to leave it blank.  That person could be naughty, I need to leave my options open.  Haha.

That is all from me, head on over to the amazing Lisa H next!!!!

{4.13.2012} NEW {ippity} Release and FWF

We have a super amazing new release with {ippity}!

They are available in this great bundle deal or individually.

Just select your favorite ippity chick and add it into your Unity cart!
Easy peasy.
To see them all click HERE.

I started out with this sa.weet girl.  It is a bit outside my normal style and I wasn’t sure how I was going to pull this one off.  Now, I seriously envy those who can art journal.  It is on my to do list one day.  I just need to find a little ‘me’ time to get it done.  🙂  I have seen many of these art girls and would LOVE to be able to create one.  Well, my dear friend Angie Blom has designed one we can all use!  Isn’t she sweet.

I decided to try my hand at a card and I adore the way it turned out.  I used some Copics to color her in and then I paper pieced her dress and popped up the flower.  It was already kinda looking busy (for me), so I ended up just putting the sentiment directly on top of the patterned paper.

Squeeeeeee.  I adore this one.  I think I ended up going really clean and simple to balance out the other one.  I LOVE this set.  So guy friendly and I shall be using it over and over again.  I stamped the golf card and colored it with some Copics again.  Then I trimmed it out and cut out the center with an X-acto knife.  Makes it super airy.

And a FUN sale too…

Thanks for popping in today.
It is Friends with Flair day on the Unity blog so make sure you head on over there to see what all our Unity fans have created.

Want to see the whole kit?

Something Groovy

I couldn’t wait to use this set!  I think it will be great for birthdays… especially for the guys!  This one is for one groovy chick because I couldn’t resist the pink.  Hee hee.  Lots of paper piecing for the peace bus with a little bit of Copic coloring.  I added a little silver Stardust pen to the peace emblem for a little bling.

Look at this sweet set too.

Counts as a Fruit

Soooo sweet.

And this cupcake absolutely counts as a FRUIT!  I used some Copics again to color in the cupcake.  A little rhinestone bling to the cake stand.

I’ve had this red thread forever, but never seem to use it.  Well, today, I needed a little more red for this card and out came the sewing machine and red thread.  I love it.

This is one stunning and yummy cupcake, ahem, fruit!

You can get these plus MORE {ippity} releases HERE.  Just pick your favorite Ippity chick and then add your stamps to your card.  Did you want some Unity too???  Well, you can just add them in too.  BOTH can be ordered at the SAME time!

Did you see this too?

moment by moment

Beautiful right?  I’ll be back tomorrow with some cards from this release too.
