{4.25.2013} Unity Thursday + Cameo file FREEBIE

Whoop Whoop!

I just LOVE when I get to hop on Thursday’s with Unity.
It is my favorite day for sure.
All the action starts on the Unity blog.

I am using the current KIT OF THE MONTH today.

Eeek, fun right?  The stamps are some I designed as well.  I loved the idea of geocaching for a card theme.  Lots of friends I know have husbands or kids that like to go on these little adventures.  It is quite a trendy theme right now as well.  The Here and There paper pad had the PERFECT matching paper.

I have a little freebie for you as well.
I created that card base for the Cameo and I’m going to share it with you.
It is available in both .studio and svg files.
Just click on the picture and download the file you need.

{2.25.2013} hot lips

Smooches

That is what I thought of as soon as I saw this week’s
SPARKS challenge from Paper Smooches.

week 4

Hee hee, I love how he is planting a big old kiss on her.

I designed my ‘hot lips’ in my Silhouette software and paired it with the perfect
sentiment stamp from Chit Chat.  At the last minute, I added the rhinestone beauty mark.
Just seemed necessary.

And I have a smooch for you.
Just click on the image below to download the Studio cutting file.

{2.8.2013} happy chinese new year…

My sweet friend Emily Leiphart (Art from the Heart) has organized a fun hop to celebrate the Chinese New Year. The New Year is on February 10th, but we are celebrating now and through the weekend. There are a great bunch of designers and stamp illustrators ready to celebrate the Year of the Snake.

I couldn't help but create something as well using my own design.

Just using some Echo Park Dots and Stripes with some washi tape.

Ready for another The Cameo Spotlight challenge?

Yummy colors.  I love this fun combo.
We have an extra special treat this week too.
Paper Smooches has generously sponsored this challenge.

Eeeek, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Paper Smooches.

Fun, Fun, Fun!  That is what this card is all about.  I adore the outdoors, so I just had to have the Happy Camper stamp set from Paper Smooches.  I paper pieced and used Copic markers to add some fun and dimension to the stamped images.  I adore that little wooden sign.  It reminds me of when we used to go to my Aunt and Uncle’s cabin in the summer.  While the signs didn’t exactly look this cute, all the signs were made of wood planks.

I used my Cameo to cut out the card base.
It is a simple design, but I thought I would share it anyway in case you didn’t want to have to design it yourself.

Hope you will join us for this 2 week challenge!
