{9.4.2011} unity sponsors CPS

Happy Sunday!

Just thought I would share with you that this week’s CPS #234 sketch is being
sponsored by  Unity Stamp Company.  Cool huh?
I love CPS sketches, so couldn’t wait to play this week.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Christmas images in the ‘all seasons‘ kit of the month.  I’m a non-traditional color kind of gal when it comes to holiday cards.  Something about a blue Christmas tree makes me giddy.  heehee.

Hope you’ll play along with the CPS sketch.
You could win a fun prize from Unity.

stamps: all seasons {unity stamp company}
patterned paper: sleigh ride {echo park}
die cuts & punches: Corner Chomper, real estate sign {ek success}
other: baker’s twine {the twinery}, rhinestones

7.16.2010 – Flair Friday

{supplies: cs – Bazzill; pp – digital; stamps – The Simple Thing (Ippity); other – sewing, string, Labels One die (Spellbinders)}

Playing around with some more Ippity today.  I think clean and graphic defines my usual style pretty well.  I decided to jump on into the challenge ring at the Moxie Fab World and start off with making a clean and graphic card.  I also used the CPS sketch for this week.

Enjoy the weekend!

7.7.2010 – Color Throwdown #100

Today is the one-hundredth challenge and it is a big day for the Color Throwdown.  You must check them out as there are a TON of prizes to be won!!!  Limelight Papercrafts is one of the sponsors, so of course I had to play along!!!  Twist my arm why don’t ya!  heehee.

Oooooh, toughie, but I think I am game!

{supplies: cs – Bazzill; pp – Early Bird (Cosmo Cricket); other – ribbon (Offray), button (Basic Grey), string, butterfly die cut (Cuttlebug), label die cut (Spellbinders)}

Check out the Color Throwdown for all the deets!  I also combined it with this week’s CPS sketch.

time to play…

I had a little time to play in my scrap room today and decided to use the CPS sketch this week.

This was a fun sketch to play with.  I can see using this all sorts of ways.  Wish I had more time to play.

Have you seen the new Oh, Alice challenges???  This is the first week I am playing since I use flowers a lot!

ETA:  So sorry, I had to remove this card as it will be published.  I will have to withdrawal from the Oh, Alice contest.  😦

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

It is Friends with Flair {FWF} Friday at UNITY… a day full of inspiration from Unity Stampers. The list of participating Friends with Flair hoppers can be found at the Unity Blog. Just a hint… someone has a secret blinkie that could win you some awesome Unity rubber when you leave a comment on that post!!!!

Don’t you just love UNITY!!!  I’m using the January kit all over the place, but this polka dot background stamp is about worn out!!!  Ha ha.  The coffee image is from the Wondeful You (which you can get at Limelight Papercrafts for an awesome deal).  I’m going to have to save this card for one of my coffee loving friends!

I used the sketch from CPS and Lucy’s Challenge is to use polka dots.

Hope you are having a fun hop and enjoy your weekend!

New {Ippity} is coming and I’ll have it here Monday!

UNITY featured this card on their blog {here}.  I’m so excited and honored!!!

so fabulous…

{supplies: cs – Bazzill, Georgia-Pacific; stamps – Bountiful Backgrounds (Verve); ink – Versamark, Colorbox Chalk; other – Sugar Rush Blossom (Basic Grey); Corner Chomper (We R Memory Keepers), sewing machine}

I love the design of the CPS sketch this week.  If I can find some time, I may be back.

Since it also has polka dots, I am submitting it to Lucy’s challenge.

i’m smitten with {FWF} fridays…

{supplies: cs – DCWV, Georgia-Pacific; stamps – Dec. 2009 & Jan. 2010 (Unity); ink – Colorbox, Versafine; punches – border punch (Fiskars), scallop square (McGill); ribbon – Michaels; other – Prismacolor pencils, Sharpie pen}

I am loving the new January kit of the month by Unity.  There are so many images I can’t wait to play with.  For this card I used the awesome polka dots and little owl.  The smitten stamp is from the December kit. I’m still playing with my Prismacolor pencils and working on shading.  Sure wish I had more artistic talent.  Oh well, practice makes perfect right?

It has been awhile since I have really played in challenges and I’m back with a bang by combining three into one!!!  I used the sketch from CPS #151, The Pink Elephant Challenge #51 (to use polka dots, pink and a bow) plus the Etsy Inspired Challenge shop this week is Sweetie Pie Tutus and I used THIS item for inspiration.

Hope your weekend is super!  I think we are expecting rain, AGAIN!  So shocking for Arizona, but I love it!
