Ok, I seem to be addicted to these now. I think ATCs are just the coolest. I decided to make one using the little owl from my new Unity Stamp Company October kit of the month. Isn’t he just darling.

The Esty Inspired Challenge this week is The Little Red door and I picked this item. I loved the colors and it made me think of gnomes and owls. Well, I don’t have gnome stamps, so I just {had} to go with an owl. And I have been eyeing this guy since he arrived. Flourishes also challenged us to use a border stamp, so I pulled out one of my trusty Fiskars punchers.

The sketch is from the 2 Sketches 4 you DT call. I’ve been a follower of their challenges for a while and they have some of the best sketches.

I ordered a new stamp set from Close To My Heart a few weeks back and it has been sitting on my table very patiently waiting to be used. I finally broke that out and created this cute little card this morning.

I love these little treetops. It is such a versatile set. I decided to use the 2 sketches 4 you sketch this week. I kept this one pretty clean, as I usually do. I used up some scraps as well. I went through my pile and found the blue cardstock had already been ran through my swiss dots folder. I grabbed that and ran a sanding block over it to bring out the white dots. Found the green cardstock in my scraps and my color palette was born. The treetops are popped up with pop dots. The yoo hoo! is from a little Hero Arts stamp set. Thought it went well with the trees. Figured that sentiment was general enough it could be used for just about anything. I finished it off with some faux stitching using a sharpie.
