{3.14.12} lucky me…

I don’t regularly make St. Patrick’s Day cards.
But, I’ve had this idea in my head since the Unity Lucky to Have You kit came out.  So, with a little push from the CREATE: Blog challenge and the Bit o’ Green challenge at Simon Says Stamp, it was time to get it done.

I am in love with my new paper from My Mind’s Eye – On the Bright Side 2.  There are some awesome patterns in there.  I picked out my greens for the heart clover and just had to pair it with the orange wood grain.  I think it turned out to be one fabby, guy-friendly, LUCKY card.

  1. Wow!!! This is awesome Lisa! That wood grain background paper looks so real….and those gorgeous chevron and spotty hearts! Perfection!

  2. I love this! The stitching, and the awesome sentiment!
And omg, I have cards for this challenge that I forgot to post – thanks for the reminder 🙂

  3. This is s WINNER! I too don’t usually make St. Patrick’s Day cards but this card works just as well as a “LOVE YOU” card. Fantastic card Lisa!

  4. Favorite St. Pat’s Day card I’ve ever seen! Probably since I’m not into this particular holiday, and this card doesn’t scream it. So perfect – love the colors and patterns of those papers!! And the stitching w/ matching thread really is perfect! Such a great card!!
