{3.28.2011} hippity hop

Hello H{ippity} Hoppers!

We have a {free} week!
March was a little long this month, so to keep our challenges in line we are going challenge free this week.

I’ve had a few requests for some thank you, so I turned to my trusty {ippity} stamps to create this one.

Gurnsey Gingham
House a Home
Just Wanted to Say

Sweet and simple.  Makes my heart happy.

I had a super weekend.  Today is my birthday and I celebrated with my family yesterday.  Luckily there were only 6 candles on the cake “3” and “3”… I’ll let you figure out how old I am.  Ha.  I asked for a yellow cake with chocolate frosting and boy was I ever SURPRISED.  My hubby ordered a special cake from restaurant we both love.  It has 2 layers of cheesecake (one plain and one chocolate) and a layer of chocolate cake.  PLUS, it is coated in a very thin ganache with pistachios… yum.  Much better than a yellow cake and chocolate frosting.  He surprised me a lot this year!!!

So begins another year of fun and I have a very lucky feeling about the number 33.
It is a good thing and I know it will be a good year!

Lisa H. is next with her A.MaZ.iNG creation!!!!

stamps: Gurnsey Gingham, House a Home, Just Wanted to Say {ippity}
patterned paper: scrap pile {unknown}
punches & die cuts: Journal Plate & Bracket {Ek Success}, small heart {Fiskars}, Large scallop rectangle {spellbinders}
tools: paper tape {3M}

  6. First of all I love your card! It is so pretty! Second of all, Happy Birthday! I hope you have a great day! Third of all… I will have those 6 candles on my cake this year too…although I tell everyone I am 28 hee hee! Its bad to do that, though, because I needed my real age for something a few weeks ago and I had to stop and think about it! I guess I have been saying that I am 28 too long! lol!
