Hi!

Thanks for joining me for another Friends with Flair.  All the participants can be found HERE.  I always love seeing what these fabulous girls do with Unity and {ippity} stamps.

My inspiration for this card came from the Create: Blog! This week the card challenge was to use decorative tape.  I haven’t played with this fun embellishment yet.  It may be my first time but it won’t be my last.  LOVE it!  It seems to be extremely popular and it is also a challenge at the Moxie Fab World in the Get Daring with Decorative Tap Challenge.

For this JUST BECAUSE card I used the Sing a New Song and How You Doin’? {ippity} stamps and the Giving it all Meaning Unity stamp.

I stamped the bird on some textured Bazzill paper and then distressed it with some ink.  I added some shading with Prismacolor pencils.  Funny thing, I forgot it was on textured paper.  As I added the shading the texture popped out!  I loved the effect the textured paper had on the colored pencils.  Kinda neat.  hehe
