It is H{ippity} Hop time!!!
Makes a Monday so much better because it is a day filled with {Ippity} fun. Every Monday Ippity stampers get together to showcase these fabulous stamps.
If you just popped into my blog, make sure you the check out the full list of hoppers on the Ippity blog.
What a crazy weekend!!! We have been puppy sitting and she is definitely a puppy! A really good puppy, but a puppy none the less. My sister is out of town, so we got the honor of watching Sedona. Our girls are 7 years old, so it has been awhile since we have been woken up during the night, have toys EVERYWHERE and someone into everything. But it is so much fun.
This is the little stinker.
Anyway, this is a Hippity Hop post right??? Hee hee. Let’s get to this week’s challenge.
Stephanie challenged us with a 1-2-3 CHALLENGE using Ippity stamps. You have probably seen this kind of challenge before, but this time… you get to choose the elements. So it is up to you… if you want 1 stamp, 2 ribbons and 3 rhinestones GO FOR IT! To play along with the Hippity Hop challenge (IHHC34) make sure you upload your photo to the SCS gallery by Sunday night! You could win a prize if you play along!!!
I am using these IPPITY stamp sets this week.
{supplies: cs – Bazzill; pp – Olivia (Basic Grey); stamps – Fall for You, Sweet Thoughts of Spring (Ippity); ink – Stazon; other – string, Snow Storm Shimmerz Vibez}
It has been a whirlwind this weekend. Didn’t quite get as much done as I had planned, but I believe I accomplished 5 cards this weekend. I wasn’t so sure I’d get to today’s card, but SO Happy I did!
I decided for my 1-2-3, I would have 1 kite, 2 clouds and 3 bows. I used the photo corner stamp in the Fall for You set to create the kite. I think it turned out pretty darn cute.
I tried something new with the Shimmerz Vibez, you can see how that turned out in the video. I used it for the clouds. I used the Olivia paper pad by Basic Grey for the kite.
Do you have ideas in your head that you’re not quite sure they will really work out. Well, this is one of those cards for me. My videos are really me working through a card. I don’t practice before and then re-tape a prefect card. Just not me. I flub up and make mistakes and do things WRONG all the time. And sometimes I don’t make stellar cards, it happens. But I figure I am not alone and if I learn something from my mistake, I hope to share that with you too.
Plus sometimes my flubs are funny, so that is ok too! 🙂
Hope you enjoy today’s video.
Thanks for hopping by!
ETA: This card was featured on the CARDS challenge blog.
Your card is just adorable. Love that kite and your take on this challenge. Cute dog too!
Awww, cute card!! Congrats on the visitor count!
Love the way this turned out! The faux stitching around the clouds really makes them pop!
Love this one layer card, the string with the bows is the perfect touch!
This card is so stinking fabulous. I haven’t had a chance to watch the video yet but am not closing this page until I do! How fun! Does dog sitting make you want a new puppy?
Almost, but then she was up every 2 hours the last night she was here and that cured me! But I think we will need one in the next few years. 🙂
Total CUTEness!!
OMG! this is so clever and cute. I’ll have to come back and watch the video, love that you admit your not perfect-none of us are and most of my cards are the results of mistakes, lol!
awww Sedona is sooo cute! LOVE that pic! hehe
Your card rocks!! I totally must remember to use the thought bubble as a cloud…! This card would have so many uses!
Love the way you made your kite out of the corner stamps! Great idea and super cute take on the challenge. Off to watch your video!

SUPER cute!! I just love your videos–thanks for sharing! You always have something fabulous to share with us!! THANK YOU for inspiring me:)
Cute card! I just love how you made the clouds 🙂
I almost couldn’t look at the card …because I was so sidetracked by puppy cuteness!! I’m glad I tore myself away because the card is great…but oh, that puppy!!!!!
She is quite adorable. It was rough to send her back home.
Great video! And that little dog photo just made me laugh out loud!
I am really loving the simplicity of your cards! Sometimes I think the cleaner the better and you really know how to hit them out of the park!
Love how you created those white, fluffy clouds — don’t know if I would trust my free-hand, but nice to see how it turns out when you do.
Thanks for the video – don’t have a stamp-a-majig – and have always wondered about them — an elusive question now answered. 😉
Meant to comment on Sedona, too — love the image of her waking up in the middle of the night and playing with her toys – so cute. We have a cat, but her adventures are more about he snuggling in the sink, sleeping on top of my brother’s suitcase, and doing all that she can to get her teeth on some mint toothpaste.
I love the clouds! They are super cute!
Thanks for the video and the card is super cute!
