giftcard holders

We may be taking the easy way out, but we tend to give gift cards for birthdays and other occasions.  It is always so difficult to find the right gift (unless I ask for suggestions).  So in order to make the gift card a little more special, I like to make little holders.

The owl gift card was made to match this birthday card from a couple posts ago.  I based it on the Caardvarks sketch #1.  I love this paper set from K & Company.  I just love that the cloud and the green polka dot paper are one sheet of double sided paper.  I’m really into finding paper packs that are double sided.  Trying to get more bang for my buck in case one side doesn’t thrill me.  But I loved both sides, so I may find myself in a dilemma later.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

  1. ok, see, if you sent this to *ME*…you would not even have to put a giftcard in it!!! it’s absolutely darling all on its own…and a wonderful take on heidi’s sketch! well done! ♥

  2. How very clever to make a gift card holder. Too cool. Not cheating at all. They always are the right size and color. I LOVE gift cards. Your holder is too cute. Love that owl.
